This past year, we have all learned so much about health practices due to the Pandemic.  I personally have never washed my hands as much as I did in 2020.  I am excited to once again be close to friends and family members “Not 6 feet apart.”

CO-VID has taught us a lot about safety and sanitation.  I want to address the importance of us all realigning with our happiness.  I believe it has been a challenge for many of us due to the Pandemic.

Here are a few steps to consider both personally and professionally:

1) Focus on what makes your heart dance.  It is important to not waste time in areas that deplete your energy.  I think after this difficult time we all need to put our talent and energy into what makes us happy.

2) Realign with people who build you up.  Take a personal inventory on how you feel about your relationships.  Are they healthy for you and the people involved?  Think heath and happiness!!

3) Believe in your talents and gifts.  We all are here to make a difference.  When we work within our areas of greatness, we move people and ourselves beyond what we thought was possible.  “Believe and Succeed!”

Personal hygiene refers to the comprehensive cleaning of and caring for your body.  Maintaining good personal hygiene includes bathing, washing your hands, brushing your teeth, and wearing clean clothing.  It also includes making safe and healthy decisions when interacting with others.  Implementing good personal hygiene practices has both health and social benefits. 

Keeping your body properly cleansed is a fundamental but not sole element of good personal hygiene.  Good hygiene practices literally continue around the clock.  Brushing your teeth at least twice a day, washing your hands at appropriate times, and caring for your appearance are all important components of personal hygiene.  Getting an adequate amount of sleep also contributes to good personal hygiene.

Taking care of your body through good personal hygiene not only helps you present an outwardly groomed appearance, it's also good for your health.  Across the world, hygiene habits have a direct correlation to illness and survival.  Throughout the day, your body comes into contact with dirt and bacteria.  I want to encourage you to incorporate hygiene practices that keep your body healthy, beautiful, and clean.

Beauty Tip: Taking care of your personal hygiene is essential not only for your health but also for your physical attractiveness. Nothing turns people away more quickly than someone who does not consistently care about their hygiene. When you do not care enough about yourself in terms of how you groom and take care of yourself, it begs the question why should others care about you as well? Be conscientious of bad breath and body odor. Brush and floss your teeth. Use mouth wash and breath mints. Bathe or shower daily and use deodorant. People can tell how you smell (but they often won’t tell you that you smell).
